Sunrise In The Amazon

“Sunrise in the Amazon” is a children’s book that addresses the threats humans pose to the Amazon rainforest. It features beautiful illustrations & information about this critical issue, and suggestions on how anyone can help stop deforestation in the Amazon once and for all.

Important: Many national and international print-on-demand services cannot guarantee sustainable practices, such as eco-friendly printing, using 100% post-consumer recycled paper, vegetable-based inks, or renewable energy in manufacturing processes. To address these limitations and ensure the paperback version remains accessible to all, I will donate proceeds from the book to Earth Day’s Canopy Project, which funds tree-planting initiatives to restore forests in critical need of rehabilitation.

About the Author 

Ricardo “Ricky” is an eleven-year-old middle school student and now an accomplished author. In 5th grade, he worked on a project about deforestation and animal conservation in the Amazon rainforest. With that experience, he developed a new passion for sustainability and a genuine interest in protecting the world from harm.
